Description
This handmade natural ruby open ring brings together a deep red gemstone, cool sterling silver and the warmth of brass. The faceted oval ruby sits horizontally across the finger, framed by a brass bezel, while the silver band curves towards a small rounded end. The open space between them gives the design its distinctive, sculptural shape.
The design centres on balance: an oval stone against a silver sphere, rich colour beside bright metal, and a sweeping curve interrupted by a small gap. Each element has room to stand out. The ruby becomes the focal point, while the rounded silver detail adds a playful finish that makes the ring interesting from more than one angle.
The band is made from 925 sterling silver, and the gold-coloured setting surrounding the ruby is brass. Together, these two metals create a warm and cool contrast that works easily alongside the jewellery you already wear. At approximately 2.33g, the ring adds colour and shape without a heavy, oversized look.

1. Grab a tape measure, length of string or strip of paper.
2. Wrap it around the finger you’ll wear your ring on—if you’re creating a ring stack, consider where on your finger the ring will sit—and mark the place where it joins.
3. Lay your string or paper strip on a flat surface and use a ruler to measure the length up to the mark. Use the chart above to match the measurement to the closest ring size.

Sterling silver is a precious metal and may require cleaning from time to time. Using the polish cloth given gently rub the silver several times, rinse the silver thoroughly in warm water and then carefully dry. This will remove the tarnish and dullness, keeping your sterling silver like new. When you are not wearing your piece, you can store it in the pouch provided to help minimize tarnishing. Please note, chlorine and bleach accelerate tarnishing and should be avoided.
