This natural iolite teardrop ring pairs deep violet-blue colour with the cool sheen of 925 sterling silver. A faceted, pear-shaped gemstone sits within a smooth silver bezel, its pointed tip bringing a delicate sense of direction to the design. The narrow band lets the stone remain the centre of attention.
The design takes its flowing character from the shape of a waterdrop, balanced by the gently uneven surface of the silver. Light catches along the textured band, while overlapping ends create a small sculptural detail at the back. This combination of clean gemstone edges and organic metalwork gives the ring its distinctive handmade character.
The silver bezel traces the outline of the iolite, framing its facets with a bright border. Its rich colour adds depth without overwhelming the slender silhouette. 1. Grab a tape measure, length of string or strip of paper.
2. Wrap it around the finger you’ll wear your ring on—if you’re creating a ring stack, consider where on your finger the ring will sit—and mark the place where it joins.
3. Lay your string or paper strip on a flat surface and use a ruler to measure the length up to the mark. Use the chart above to match the measurement to the closest ring size.

Sterling silver is a precious metal and may require cleaning from time to time. Using the polish cloth given gently rub the silver several times, rinse the silver thoroughly in warm water and then carefully dry. This will remove the tarnish and dullness, keeping your sterling silver like new. When you are not wearing your piece, you can store it in the pouch provided to help minimize tarnishing. Please note, chlorine and bleach accelerate tarnishing and should be avoided.
