Description

There's a particular kind of silver piece that looks like it was found rather than made — and honestly, that's the whole point of this one. The Rivage cuff is shaped like a slender branch of driftwood, the kind you'd pick up on an empty stretch of beach and turn over in your hand without quite knowing why. The band isn't smooth or machine-perfect. It ripples. It carries little irregular ridges and soft knots along its length, hand-finished in solid 925 sterling silver so the light catches differently at every angle, the way water does.

At the centre sits a single natural aquamarine, bezel-set in silver that's been worked into a raised, organic texture — tiny beads and dimples gathered around the stone like sea foam settling on the shore. It's the bit that genuinely matters up close: instead of a flat, clinical setting, the silver looks like it flowed into place and froze mid-movement. The aquamarine itself is that soft, misty blue that sits somewhere between sea glass and morning sky — pale, calm, and quietly luminous rather than loud.

Because every stone is cut from natural aquamarine, no two are identical. Some lean a touch bluer, some carry a gentle grey-green cast, and you may notice fine internal lines or a soft cloudiness within the stone. These aren't flaws — they're the fingerprint of a genuine gemstone, proof that yours grew in the earth rather than a factory mould, and honestly they're the reason natural aquamarine feels so much more alive than glass or crystal imitations. The band's texture varies slightly from piece to piece too, which is exactly what you want from a hand-finished design.

Aquamarine is the March birthstone, and in crystal lore it has long been associated with calm, clear communication and safe passage across water — sailors once carried it as a talisman for exactly that reason. Whether or not you put stock in the folklore, there's something undeniably settling about that watery blue against bare skin. It's the kind of piece that works just as hard with a white linen shirt and jeans as it does over a slip dress at a summer wedding — one of those rare cuffs that reads polished without ever feeling formal.

The open cuff design slides on from the side of the wrist, no clasp to fiddle with, and sits with a bit of air around the wrist bone — the sweet spot between a rigid bangle and a soft chain bracelet. Worn alone it's a quiet statement; stacked with a strand of freshwater pearls or a fine beaded silver bracelet, it becomes the anchor of the whole wrist. We keep coming back to how well that pale aquamarine sits next to warm pearl tones — very coastal, very effortless, very much the deja vu mood.

If you've been building our Ocean Edit — the Marée ring, Lagune studs, Marine pendant, Océane pearls — Rivage is the wrist piece the collection has been waiting for. And if this is your first piece from the edit, it's a lovely place to start: sterling silver that will genuinely last, a real gemstone with its own story, and a silhouette you won't see on every second wrist at brunch.

Each Rivage cuff is finished by hand and set with its own individually cut aquamarine, so the piece that arrives at your door is quite literally one of one — the exact ripple of the band, the exact blue of your stone, no repeats. We bring these in small batches, and once a batch of stones is gone, the next will look subtly different again. If this particular shade of sea-blue is speaking to you, it's worth trusting that instinct.

CARE INSTRUCTION

Sterling silver is a precious mental and may require cleaning from time to time. Using the polish cloth given gently rub the silver several times, rinse the silver thoroughly in warm water and then carefully dry. This will remove the tarnish and dullness, keeping your sterling silver like new. When you are not wearing your piece, you can store it in the pouch provided to help minimize tarnishing. Please note, chorine and bleach accelerate tarnishing and should be avoided.
